OK am finally getting around to doing my Bangkok blogpost.

PRE-FLIGHT:

Since the actual flight was in the wee hours of the morning and I stay in the west, Nattie kindly invited me to stayover at her house yay! Zhanhao came too and we were still convincing him to go bkk with us the night before haha.

Day One:

We stayed at an airbnb located on Sukhumvit Road, a few streets down from Nana station. It was like a 15 mins walk from the station which would have been fine but the weather was killer omg it was near 40 degrees everyday. Went during December period last time which was definitely more cooling. I didn't take photos of the place but it was quite chio!! And affordable. The owner was also v nice she drove us to where we wanted on the last day when we checked out ^^

First stop of the day was at Everyday by Karmakamet which had a really nice ambience and all but too expensive for our budget HAHA. Some shitty incidents happened there as well cc: ash

Then we went to this Phallic Shrine which is basically this place where they have statues of penises for worship. Quite intriguing I guess haha. We took some photos there but I don't think it's appropriate to post here oops.

At night, we visited Rod Fai Night Market! Which was so lovely I really liked that place a lot. They sell like food, vintage stuff, clothes everything!! Damn cheap also heh.

Day Two:

Wearing the dresses we bought on Day One hahahahahha we call it the tablecloths. The girls had a lot of depressing buys albeit them being cheap SOBS.

Tragic story: We were very excited to visit the forensic museum which has like dead baby foetuses in jars those kinds stuff haha but sian we went all the way there via cab + boat and it ended up being closed cause it was a public holiday!! cries a river. OH we almost got scammed by the taxi driver haha I think he had some liasing with the private boat charter then he charged us damn cheap for the taxi but he brought us to the private boat ferry instead of the normal one. Lucky we had Lucas there to realise haha so we said we wanted to go eat first but we hastily walked away to the correct place.
