Saturday night and I'm sitting at home waiting for Ash to finish her episode of Goblin so that we can Skype Iggy who is now in Texas for exchange.

I've always liked the sound of even years though it's usally the odd years that that turn out a little more exciting for me, hopefully 2017's the same. 2016 was a year of discovering who my closer friends are. I watched a Butterworks web series recently and one quote stuck with me: True friends grow separately without growing apart. I think that sums it up nicely. 2016 also saw me finding love when I was not looking for it all and this time it definitely feels different, more real, more simple. Few months in and I also did an LDR for 5 months for the first time, not hard but definitely not easy either. I stopped staying in hall, which was quite the breather though I do miss the late night suppers and hthts sometimes. I figured out my specialization, took great mods, travelled to different countries. I learnt to be more private on my social media- I used to be such a snapchat whore haha. I feel so much more at peace now. I no longer do it for the gram but I still like to capture memories to post here. Entered the 20s club.
